A clear guide to our website, consultations and permanent makeup services. We want your experience with Cynful Beauty Bar to feel informed, personal and considered.
01 / Our website and services
Cynful Beauty Bar is the permanent makeup business founded by Cynthia Zapata, located at 971 Reservoir Ave, Cranston, RI 02910. These terms explain the use of this website and general service conditions. The appointment details, consent forms and policies presented for your selected service also apply.
Sending a question through this website does not create an appointment or confirm your suitability for a treatment. Appointments are arranged through our external Acuity Scheduling calendar and are subject to availability.
02 / Consultations and suitability
Service recommendations depend on your goals, existing pigment and individual circumstances. Previous permanent makeup by another artist requires a consultation. Corrections, SELECT touch-ups and paramedical services may require an assessment or approval before booking.
Please provide accurate information during the appropriate consultation and consent process. Cynthia may recommend an alternative or decline a service after assessment. This website provides general beauty service information, not medical advice. Ask a qualified healthcare professional about medical questions that may affect a treatment.
03 / Appointments, prices and payments
Prices are listed in US dollars. The price, duration, any required deposit and payment conditions are shown for the selected appointment in Acuity. A credit card may be required to secure a booking. Providing a card does not itself mean it will be charged immediately; the selected service’s deposit and cancellation conditions determine any charge.
Touch-ups are separate appointments with their own prices unless your booking explicitly states otherwise. Confirm any uncertainty with us. Appointment times are Eastern Time. Keep your confirmation and use its instructions or contact us if you need help managing an appointment.
04 / Cancellations, missed visits and late arrivals
The following summarizes the studio’s booking policy. The conditions disclosed for your appointment in Acuity should be read together with your confirmation. If anything is unclear or appears inconsistent, contact us for clarification.
Cancellation less than 24 hours before the appointment: 50% of the service cost or forfeiture of the deposit.
Cancellation less than 8 hours before the appointment, or a no-show: 100% of the service cost.
Arrival 15 minutes or more late: the appointment may be cancelled and 100% of the service cost charged.
Outstanding cancellation or missed-appointment fees must be settled before a future booking.
The less-than-8-hour condition applies within that period rather than being added to the less-than-24-hour fee. To request a change, follow your booking confirmation or contact the studio; a website inquiry alone does not confirm a cancellation or rescheduling.
05 / Results, aftercare and refunds
Permanent makeup results and longevity vary with skin, existing pigment, healing and aftercare. Images and descriptions do not promise a particular result. Follow the personalized preparation and aftercare instructions provided for your service, and contact the studio with concerns.
The studio’s published booking policy states that beauty service results are not guaranteed and that refunds are not offered. This does not remove any refund, remedy or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. Specific questions about your appointment should be discussed directly with Cynful Beauty Bar.
06 / Website content and responsible use
Photographs, logos, text and other content belong to Cynful Beauty Bar or their respective rights holders. Viewing the website does not grant permission to reproduce, sell or use that material commercially. Request permission for reuse.
Use the site lawfully. Do not submit spam, impersonate another person, interfere with the website or attempt unauthorized access. We aim to keep service information accurate, but errors and interruptions can occur; contact us if a detail needs clarification.
07 / External services and privacy
Booking, payment and other actions completed on external services are subject to those providers’ terms and privacy practices. Links to Acuity, Maps and social media take you to separate services.
Our Privacy Policy explains how website inquiries are handled. Please use the inquiry form for general questions and avoid sending medical records, payment information or sensitive photographs through it.
We may update these terms and show the revised date on this page. Changes apply prospectively and do not retrospectively alter a confirmed appointment’s agreed conditions. Nothing here limits rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
These terms are subject to applicable Rhode Island and United States law, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. For questions about these terms or a service, contact us using the details below.
